Expert Facial Rejuvenation in Cleveland, Ohio
Facial rejuvenation is not about changing the way you look. It is about restoring balance, structure, and vitality so you look refreshed, healthy, and recognizably yourself.
Dr. Michael Yerukhim is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon in Cleveland offering surgical and non-surgical treatments for the face and neck. Treatment may include surgery, injectables, skin resurfacing, volume restoration, or a carefully selected combination based on your anatomy and goals.
Natural Is Non-Negotiable
The goal is never to look stretched, overfilled, or “done.” Dr. Yerukhim’s approach is to restore what aging, hormonal changes, sun exposure, genetics, or weight loss have taken away while preserving the features that make your face your own. The result should look like you—just rested, refreshed, and more youthful.
Why Faces Age
Facial aging is not always gradual. Many patients notice periods when changes seem to accelerate, including during midlife (such as with menopause and peri-menopause, later decades, or after significant weight loss such as with GLP-1 medications.
Most visible aging comes from three changes:
Descent: facial and neck tissues shift downward.
Volume loss: the face loses youthful fullness and support.
Skin aging: collagen loss, sun damage, lines, and texture become more noticeable.
Natural rejuvenation works best when these changes are considered together.
A Customized Approach
There is no single best facial rejuvenation procedure. Some patients need one focused treatment. Others benefit most from a combination of procedures such as facelift and neck lift, eyelid surgery, fat grafting, injectables, or laser resurfacing. Every treatment plan is individualized to create the most natural and balanced result.
PROCEDURES
Facelifts (Surgical): A facelift (a rhytidectomy) is a surgery that removes excess skin and fat in the facial area to help create a smoother, tighter, and younger-looking face. This procedure can be effective for getting rid of sagging skin, deep facial creases, an uneven face shape, and more.
Deep Plane Facelift: The extended deep plane facelift is a procedure that tightens and lifts the face by targeting the muscular and soft tissue layer underneath the skin – known as the SMAS or superficial musculoaponeurotic system – ensuring a more natural appearance. This procedure lifts the SMAS and the skin as a single unit, releases the tethering ligaments that create the creases and shadows we associate with aging, and allows the surgeon to reposition and reverse the changes of aging without tension. This produces a natural and powerful result for rejuvenating the neck, jawline and middle of the face.
Deep plane facelifts often produce longer-lasting results than older-style facelifts and can reduce or eliminate the need for ongoing injectable fillers. The incisions are placed around the ears and within the hairline for a discreet appearance. By lifting both the skin and the SMAS, healthy blood flow to the face is sustained, which can mean less pain, better healing, less scarring and a faster recovery.
Eyelids (Blepharoplasty): Blepharoplasty is an is a procedure to repair drooping eyelids. During the operation, subcutaneous fat is removed in order to get rid of facial wrinkles in the upper or lower eyelid. Excess skin and muscle may also be removed. Correction of age-related skin changes is performed with the help of a simple surgical procedure. Droopy eyelids can make you look older and can also impair vision. Blepharoplasty corrects these problems and also removes puffiness and bags under the eyes that make you look worn and tired.
Brow lifts: Brow lift refers to any procedure that lifts the eyebrows, including a forehead lift. It is a surgery that usually involves an incision at the hairline to smooth and tighten the skin. The brow lifting procedure may also help to smooth horizontal expression lines in the forehead and vertical frown lines between the eyebrows.
Neck lifts: A neck lift (or a lower rhytidectomy) is a surgical procedure that helps to tighten the skin on the neck and improve the neck’s structure. This procedure may involve the removal of loose skin, the removal of excess fat, and altering of the neck muscles.
